A former solicitor with a PhD in History from the University of Nottingham, I am particularly interested in the work of ecclesiastical courts in England and the lives of lawyers who worked in them during the late medieval and early modern period (approximately 1450 to 1640) but also examine many other aspects of fifteenth- and sixteenth-century social, religious and legal history.
